Let me introduce you to yourself

Forget blood tests, scans or checkups. It turns out that all of life can be summed up with one simple measure: Core Mobility.

About twenty years ago, medical scientists stumbled across an amazing finding: stiffness of the aorta predicted risk of death from all causes. Never before had a single metric been able to so conclusively summarize life and estimate lifespan. Until now, no one had been able to explain aortic stiffness, which offers a unique perspective on human life.

The aorta is the body's largest blood vessel, running from the heart through the chest and abdomen. Located immediately in front of the spine, increasing spinal stiffness is closely connected to stiffness of the aorta: aortic stiffness is a surrogate measure of spinal stiffness.

Yoga, Tai Chi and other Eastern health disciplines have long promoted mobility of the spinal column as central to good health and an ability to breathe effectively. Spinal mobility is linked to mobility of the rib cage and diaphragm that together comprise Core Mobility. With good Core Mobility, each breath drives blood through the Internal microcircuitry channels of the liver, spleen, kidneys and other internal organs, supporting organ function, health and longevity. As well, nourishing fluid is driven up the spinal column to the brain, maintaining brain health and guarding against development of Dementia.

Core Mobility and Aortic Stiffness can be measured in your own home using iHeart Internal Age, and as a result more and more people are seeing life as integrated and health as being dependent on good Core Mobility.
